A French built 1948 Ford
Viewer's submission
Mike,
About these pictures, its my car, a French Ford built in 1948 at approximately
700 units. 2 years later I was driving with the original flathead V8, 60 HP,
and recently I changed the engine to a 215 ci from an English ROVER.
I start to rebuilt it in 1988 october, for nearly ten years I have annoyed my friends
to help me because in France we haven't got Boyd Codington, or Roy Brizio... and I am not rich....
You can't see it, but there's an electric opening roof, the interior is not finished,
and recently I had trouble with the brakes, so I am not on the road yet.
I am a member of the French Street Rod Association (FSRA), which counts
more or less 110 members, and + or - 50 rods in good condition to runs well.
My best friend own a 1959 Cadillac Fleetwod Limousine.
I collect Hot Wheels too.
Au revoir, good bye, see you soon.
Best regard from France.
