1949 Chevy Pickup

Mike,
Engine compartment
I enjoy you site very much and drool over the rods you have on it.
I'm just an old guy from Alabama but thought I would send a picture of
my 1949 Chevy truck I've been working on for about 5 years.
It has a Pontiac front clip, 350/350, and a ten bolt rear.
The body has many modifications including electric doors out of a 51, shaved hood,
frenched headlights, pop open door in cab for fuel, new bumper and grill.
The bed has tears welded at the upper rail ends, rounded stack
posts, louvered tail gate, roll pan, and oak bed.
Inside is red with gray diamond materiel on the seats,
door panels, and headliner with black carpet.
The six Auto Meter gauges dress up the dash along with a
Painless wiring kit to up date the electrical system.
I'm like most rodders, I could go on and on about my ride.
Again thanks for you swell site.
