1965 Shelby Cobra

1965 Shelby Cobra Viewer's submission
Mike,

It is an Everett Morrison replica of the 427SC, closest year, about 1965. Built for racing, and not as a reproduction show car. It has a custom built race engine based on a Chevy Bow Tie Small Block. All custom parts, about 430 to 450 HP, depending on setup. Weighs under 2400 pounds wet. Was raced in 1994 38 times that I can document. The AVERAGE of all 38 races is under 12 seconds, the last 16 in a row are under 12 seconds, and the best ET, 9/03/94, was 11.54. Not bad for a car that is easy enough to drive that my wife and daughter drive it on a weekly basis.
